Basketball Rules

General

  • Games to 15, playoff games to 12 (best of 3)

  • 1 timeout for each team per game. Timeouts are 60 seconds long.

  • If you slam dunk, you are out of the game (It could break the rim)

  • Subs are only allowed before the check (unless an injury occurs)

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct has penalties (sit out for 3 points) -judged by the ref

  • Ref: Same as Frisbee Ref

  • When the opposing team challenges a call or no call on the foul, the ref will step in and be a mediator

  • (Possible) After 3 fouls the opposing team has an opportunity to shoot one foul shot (If made equals 1 point)

  • Players call their own fouls. When fouled while shooting you have to call it directly after the foul. Not after the shot is made or missed

3v3

  • No gender ratio

  • Half-court

  • No out-of-district players

  • If the player does not have a district team they are a free agent

  • If the district has extra players after a full team is made. (min. 3 players) They MAY be a free agent if they choose

Out of Bounds:

The Ball is only out when the ball touches the wall OR the player touches the wall whilst holding the ball. (No line outs)
