THIS YEAR, WE’RE GOING HYBRID!

Participate in this 60 minute race on Sunday with friends or family… are you fast enough to complete the most missions out of everyone?

What is it?

The Great BCSF Amazing Race is a super fun and competitive points-based race that requires your team of 2-4 people to fulfill different levels of missions in your own home and city - or at UTS! The more missions you fulfill, the more points you’ll gain.

The 2021 Race will be a 1-hour race from 3-4 PM ET on Sunday, August 15. All you have to do is download an app, and then race around!

What’s at Stake?!

Mostly, your honor.

But there will also be prizes for the top teams awarded at the Closing Ceremony at 5 PM!

General Requirements:

  • You and your whole team must register individually with BCSF on the official registration site at bcsfusa.com/register, or in person at UTS.

  • You must have a smartphone that has camera abilities and have the app “GooseChase” downloaded before Sunday, August 15. This is where you’ll register your team.

  • You must adhere to your city’s COVID-19 guidelines.

So How Does It Work?

  1. HOW TO SIGN UP:

    1. Download the app GooseChase for free on your smartphone. Check it out here: https://www.goosechase.com/

    2. You may select either “Play as Guest” or “Play with New Account.” As long as you don’t delete the app during the game, both will save your information.

    3. Enter in the private game code: 475P3D

    4. You should see the game pop up titled “The Great BCSF Amazing Race 2021.” If you don’t, you can search for it by title.

    5. Click “Select Team & Join Game.”

    6. Click “Create Team,” come up with a creative team name, and share your access code (a 4-digit number) with the rest of your teammates.

    7. If your team has already been created, find the team name and select it, and enter the access code the first person should have received.

  2. Teams can be 2-4 people. You don’t need to be physically present with your team if you’d like to team up with people in different areas! You could technically register yourself as a solo team if you would like to.

  3. Follow us at @bcsfusa on Instagram and Facebook where you’ll receive updates and different announcements.

  4. You’ll have 60 minutes to complete as many missions as possible!

    • Watch out for bonus missions that will be released throughout the Race.

    • Tune into the Instagram and Facebook @bcsfusa to receive updates.

    • Do you dare push yourself to your limits to complete as many missions as possible??? Only points can tell!

  5. Find out who the winners are at the BCSF Closing Ceremonies online and in person at 5 PM EST (2 PM PT) on Sunday, Aug. 15th!

  6. We will contact the winners after the event to send the prizes!
